The Office of Teacher Preparation and Certification is committed to making sure that we prepare and certify culturally and linguistically diverse teacher candidates to teach and affirm culturally and linguistically diverse students in urban centers. Our programs are rooted in a social justice framework that celebrates diversity and inclusion, prioritizes bilingualism, and creates a learning environment aligned with our ethos of creating a stronger democracy, where all voices are heard.
