Processing Your Certification
The Department of Urban Education Office of Teacher Preparation and Certification will apply to the NJDOE for your certification once your degree has been conferred on your official transcript.
Certifications are awarded approximately 6 weeks after degree conferral.
Receiving Your Certification
As of 2016, paper certifications are NO LONGER being issued. You will be notified by email when your certification has been awarded and can be printed. To download your certification, please visit the NJDOE.
